Doctor remanded for taking pictures of Dr. Nona’s change of clothes at Ragama Teaching Hospital

The Ragama Police have arrested a Muslim doctor on the 10th of this month for allegedly taking photographs of a female doctor changing clothes in a dormitory room at the Ragama Hospital.

The suspect doctor is on duty at the Colombo National Hospital and is a resident of Kalmunai.

This doctor who is temporarily staying in the Wellampitiya area is unmarried.

When questioned, the suspect had said that the photographs were taken while he was on his way to the Ragama Hospital doctors’ hostel to see a doctor who had been identified through social media.

However, the doctor who came to see the doctor had said that she did not know him.

Police have found several photographs of the doctor changing clothes taken by the suspect doctor from his mobile phone.

The arrested doctor was produced before the Wattala Magistrate’s Court on the 11th and remanded till the 16th of this month.

The Ragama Police are conducting further investigations.
