National Identity Card one day service again
The one day service of issuing National Identity Cards will be resumed from Monday the 25th, says the Commissioner of Registration of Persons Viani Goonetileke.
He says you must book a date and time in advance.
He further states that National Identity Cards are issued only by the Battaramulla Head Office and the Galle Southern Provincial Office under the one day service.
Applicants wishing to obtain NICs under the one day service should obtain a date and time from the telephone number 0112522126 and the NICs can be obtained through the Divisional Secretariat in the normal manner as before, said the Commissioner of Registration of Persons Viani Goonetileke.
