US Ambassador meets President

US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Alina B. Mrs. Teplitz has met President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.

The President appreciated the Ambassador’s support in enhancing cooperation between the United States and Sri Lanka.

Mr. Rajapaksa also thanked the US Government for its assistance to Sri Lanka in the process of vaccination and supply of medical equipment to control the Kovid epidemic.

The Ambassador commended the progress made by Sri Lanka in the vaccination and anti-Kovid process and thanked the President and the Government for their support in facilitating their duties.
