Fifteen non-medical unions have decided to go on a token strike today and tomorrow.
It includes trade unions, including nursing, paramedical and paramedical services.
The token strike has been organized due to the fact that neither the Ministry of Health nor the relevant government authorities have yet entered into a successful negotiating solution to the token strike that took place on the 17th.
Accordingly, the Complementary Medical Services Joint Authority announced that the strike will be implemented based on several demands including increasing the special duty allowance to Rs. 10,000 and making the health service a closed service.
