Leader of the House Dinesh Gunawardena says that it will be decided at the next party leadership meeting whether a parliamentary debate will be held on the International Monetary Fund (IMF) reports on Sri Lanka.
The Minister made this statement in Parliament today (09) in response to a request made in Parliament to hold such a debate.
The Leader of the United National Party Ranil Wickremesinghe made this request in Parliament and requested that the relevant report be released in the first week of March as the relevant report will be released in the third week of this month.
Responding to this, Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said that there is a possibility of discussing this matter at the next party leadership meeting and taking a decision.
