More than 6 hours of power cuts tomorrow

The Public Utilities Commission has given permission to the Electricity Board to cut off power for more than six hours tomorrow (03).

Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board Janaka Ratnayake said that the permission was granted at the request of the Ceylon Electricity Board.

Accordingly, power cuts will be carried out under two main zones from 08.30 am to 12.00 noon for a period of 06 hours and 15 minutes.

Power cuts to PQRSTUVW from 10.00 am to 4 pm for 2 hours and 15 minutes and from 04.00 pm to 12.00 noon for 4 hours.

In addition, power cuts to ABCDEFGHIJKL tomorrow from 08.30 am to 05.30 pm for 2 hours and 15 minutes and from 05.30 pm to 11.30 pm for 3 hours are planned.
