The Prime Minister’s Media Unit states that reports that Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is resigning are false.
This was stated by the Prime Minister’s Media Secretary Rohan Weliwita.
The Prime Minister’s Media Secretary further stated that reports that the Prime Minister is resigning are baseless and that no such plan exists at present.
