Colombo Additional Magistrate Keminda Perera today (22) ordered that Mr. Chaminda Kelum Amarasinghe, who was arrested by the Kurunduwatta Police and brought to court in connection with the incident of breaking into the National Television studio complex, be released on a cash bond of one and a half lakh rupees and a personal bail of three lakh rupees.
It was when the police presented the facts to the court in the evening when the suspect was arrested and handed over to the Kurunduwatta police in connection with this incident.
On the 15th, the court had ordered the release of the first suspect, social activist Dhanish Ali, on two sureties of Rs 25,000 and Rs 5 lakh each.
